Making a Difference
Ken, an Illinois native, came to the area more than 30 years ago to start life anew in the wide open spaces of Green Valley. Ken, a giving person, not only raised his own children in the community, but took in troubled teens as well. He worked hard to create a nurturing environment. Having taken in entire families in need, Ken is known for going out of his way to make a difference in every life he touches.
On Carolyn’s Bella Vista Ranch, she raises paint horses. To her, the horses are a passion and a reminder of her tie to the Old West.

A Perfect Fit
Carolyn, a native of New York, came West after a successful career in communications. With her master’s degree in journalism, her articles have been printed in national magazines and her resume includes work as a marketing manager for the world’s leading producer of vinyl siding. She was drawn to the area for its wide open spaces and ideal pace of living. Immediately she immersed herself in her community, purchasing and operating her own business, Camilot Flowers for over a decade. She stays in touch with the heritage of the West by raising Paint horses on her ranch.
